An excellent restaurant is a restaurant that is good time after time after time. Takito Kitchen is an excellent restaurant. Whether with my friends, my husband, or my family, I have had a consistently wonderful time. The service kicks off the great time - every server I&#39;ve had is kind, caring and helpful. The food - they don&#39;t know what mediocre is. Every taco is outstanding and not just because of the fun flights, but because of the unique spin on classic fillings. The atmosphere is both hip, but inviting and makes the long, narrow room work. Not to mention the fabulous sidewalk tables perfect for enjoying great Spring and Summer weather. Good selection of not only bar-type food, but also an impressive selection of beer. Nice spot to stop in for lunch or an early dinner, and apparently the trivia nights are a great deal of fun. We were quite impressed with the service and the food quality was very good.

Our outstanding, attentive waiter helped guide our group of six through the drink list and menu. Four of us enjoyed sipping tequila shots with bloody Mary chasers, while one had wine and another a margarita. Well, two shot-takers also ordered margaritas and I had a second shot of tequila. I&#39;m a taco fanatic, and I tried one from each of our table&#39;s four different taco flights, and each was marvelous in its own way. My only disappointment was the beans: Too much cilantro. But the surprise delight of the evening was our shared dish of paella. I exclaimed, &quot;Wow,&quot; after every bite. It surpassed any paella I enjoyed in the South of Spain. &quot;Wow, wow, wow!&quot; Viva Takito!

We went with friends to this new median restaurAnt in west Division. The guacamole, and grilled veggies were great(however they did unknowingly have chorizo in there. The fish tacos, special cheese tacos were also excellent and accompanied with an order of rice and beans and an order of polenta. Restaurant is warm and cozy at tables or eating at a rail bar. Great collection of tequilas and a few Mexican beers. Salud y buen appetito.

Went for brunch on a Sunday around noon. The place was relatively quiet which surprised me since the food was really good and great brunch comfort food. We had the crispy pork belly to start which was delicious with two types if margaritas (cucumber which was tart &amp; strawberry/mint which was much sweeter) both were really good and complimented the food perfectly. We also tried the guacamole which was very smooth but tasted better than a lot of other guacamoles I have tried in other restaurants. Next we had a hearts of palm salad which had a really light but tasty lime dressing, crispy fish tacos which were fresh &amp; had an interesting coconut crema with fresh Thai basil. Our final dish was the chilaquiles which was also really delicious and a great brunch dish. The servers were all very friendly and helpful suggesting specials, etc. would definitely like to come back for dinner to try the large range of tequilas.
